Hey there! My name is Sam.
It makes me SUPER HAPPY that you found your way to Samwhere 🙂
To start, I want to remind you that I am simply a human being too.
Some days I’m feeling like the king of the universe and others are filled with self-doubts and fears.
And, to be honest with you, openly stating that I feel lost is sometimes much harder than I imagined.
However, that is what Samwhere is all about and I am so glad you are joining me on this journey to create a space for vulnerability, support and personal growth.

A brief summary of Sam’s story
After finishing high school in 2013, I took a gap year where I discovered my passion for social engagement through volunteering.
I was blown away by all the warm-hearted people, the diversity of our beautiful planet and the effort of so many individuals to contribute to a sustainable development.
Once I started studying architecture, all those questions about life suddenly popped up in my mind:
- Why am I studying this?
- What are my skills and values?
- Which problems do I want to solve with my professional path?
- How do I want to look back on my life when I am old?
That was the first time I truly felt lost. Somehow, the answers to the previous questions were not at all aligned with the degree I chose.
Regardless a successful first 1.5 years (out of 6) at my university, I took the challenging and important decision to leave in order to follow my dream of a nomadic lifestyle.
During almost two years, I got involved in projects ranging from eco-construction, permaculture and vegetarian cooking to teaching yoga, being a camp counsellor and working in hospitality.
My goal was to experiment with different professions while contributing to the local communities and gaining skills.
By the end of 2017, however, I moved to Berlin so that I could submerge myself into the social start-up world. What is more, my aim was to elaborate an educational project that I had already started in Buenos Aires.
Quickly, I became aware of my desire to acquire deeper and more professional knowledge about social entrepreneurship and change management.
Now, I am passionately transforming Samhwere into an online reminder that everybody who is feeling lost, is not alone and that those moments are turning points for a purposeful life.
