1- What do you understand under feeling lost?
For me, feeling lost is not knowing which steps to take next in life. Often even being overwhelmed by different opportunities. It all becomes too much, and no one seems to be able to help you.
2- Please, describe a specific situation when you felt that way.
Probably, my strongest Feeling-Lost phase was when I was living in the United States – with a great partner, in a wonderful house, friends, beautiful nature, awesome lifestyle – everything seemed perfect. I thought that I was where I wanted to be.
However, after time things just couldn’t go right anymore, unpleasant feelings – so much just seemed to be off. As days and months passed by, inner unhappiness kept on building up.
In short: I felt like shit! / lost! Especially because I couldn’t find answers to my inner questions anywhere. I couldn’t even understand myself. Even if my boyfriend was a great man and I liked my life in the USA, I finally realized and had to admit to myself that my heart was still back at home in Berlin.
To take the courage to listen inside, to understand myself and get back to my real alignment was a long process.
3- Which three tools helped you to overcome or to deal with those moments?
- Going for walks in nature
- Daily talks with my best friend and God.
It helped me a lot to afterward write thoughts and feelings down. And whenever needed I read over them to give me some clearer perspectives.
And another inspiration for me is Abraham Hicks who teaches about how to listen to your inner guidance – the way you FEEL.
4- Which main lesson or result did you get out of this challenging time?
- To be me.
- To trust myself and life.
- That uncertainty can be an awesome part of life.
5- What could be done to help somebody who is feeling lost?
Should I mention Samwhere now?
6- Is there anything else you would like to add regarding this topic?
Unfortunately, nowadays life lets so many people fall into a deep hole when feeling lost. It’s then hard to realize how amazing and easy life actually is. It then seems forgotten that problems are just temporary and that each next step is one’s own choice and that one can change it all into a whole new direction / to one’s own alignment. Life is great!
